If you’re as eager as I am to get outside in the sunshine, you’ll definitely want to check out these hot spots. Read below for my top 5 outdoor dining options in Bergen County this Spring!

Piazza Sofia in Englewood

For great steak and seafood, Piazza Sofia is my go-to! Located in the heart of Englewood, Sofia has beautifully decorated, garden-inspired, alfresco seating on their sidewalk and private backyard patio. And as spring nights can still get a bit chilly, they offer heat lamps to keep you cozy! Check out their extensive wine list, craft beer selection, and unique cocktails, which pair perfectly with their upscale cuisine.

Pier 115 Bar & Grill in Edgewater

With incredible views of the Hudson River and Manhattan skyline, Pier 115 is one of the most scenic outdoor dining spots in Bergen County! The Pier Deck boasts several oversized couches and waterfront tables perfect for light cocktails or full seated dinners. This year they have also added a new Garden Tent, which combines the ambiance of indoor dining with the fresh outdoor breeze and stunning views. They consider themselves a “Modern American Gastropub,” but in addition to American classics, they offer a variety of cuisines from different cultures. And be sure to check out their delicious brunch menu on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays – perfectly paired with their bottomless Mimosas and Bloody Mary’s!

Varka Estiatorio in Ramsey

Authentic dishes from the Mediterranean isles found right around the corner in downtown Ramsey! Varka offers an amazing variety of seafood options and Greek specialties. From the seafood tower to the “tipsy” lobsters, everything is so fresh and delicious! They even guarantee their customers, “the shortest time between the net and your plate.” Now offering an outdoor dining tent with chandeliers and heat lamps, you can basically feel the island breeze during your meal!

Farmhouse Cafe & Eatery in Westwood

For a more casual lunch spot, Farmhouse Cafe & Eatery in Westwood is one of my favorites! They consider their menu to be American, but explain, “American cuisine reflects the history of the United States, blending the culinary contributions of various groups of people from around the world.” Which is why you will find a variety of meal options inspired by other cultures – Shawarma, Jambalaya, Fajitas, Tika Masala, Lasagna, and more! America is a melting pot for certain, and you can really appreciate its many flavors on the Farmhouse menu.

Fauborg in Montclair

With firepits, string lightings, and toasty heat lamps, this outdoor patio sets the mood for a romantic date night! Fauborg is an elegant modern French brasserie with delectable dishes and an extensive selection of wine from their floor to ceiling wine vault. Whether your looking for light apps and cocktails on the patio, or a full four-course meal, Fauborg exceeds expectations. I highly recommend saving room for dessert, which includes classic French specialties like baby madeleines and macarons!
